Jim Allfrey began his adult life from humble beginnings, having completed his last two years of high school in Rupert, Idaho, as a resident of the Idaho Youth Ranch. He attended Idaho State University and married his wife, Sherrie, in September 1974. They have four children and now reside in Riverton, Utah.

Jim began his business career in the retail supermarket industry, quickly advancing and serving in a number of key management positions, including Retail Management and Supervision, Human Resources, Accounting and Operations. After serving as Human Resource Manager and Controller with a privately-owned, independent supermarket chain with operations in three Western states, Jim ultimately became Partner and Chief Operating Officer for five years. Jim sold his interest in the supermarket business and became a full-time real estate investor in 2004.

Jim’s real estate experience includes commercial, “sandwich-type” leases; contract negotiations; development and construction of new buildings, as well as the purchase and sale of a number of individual homes, due to promotions and transfers. He currently owns investment real estate in several states and focuses on residential properties. He sees the opportunity that real estate investment provides as the best entrepreneurial activity available in America, as well as the fastest method for increasing long-term wealth.
