Mark Kohler obtained an undergraduate degree in accounting and a Masters degree in accounting with tax emphasis from the University of Utah. He then graduated from Willamette College of Law located in Salem, Oregon in 2000. Mr. Kohler is an Attorney, Certified Public Accountant and Entrepreneur. He has owned numerous businesses since high school, through college and even as a professional. Now, his principal occupation is that of a “tax attorney” and as a partner in the law firm Kyler Kohler & Ostermiller, LLP, and the accounting firm Kohler & Eyre, CPAs, LLP. Mr. Kohler specializes in the areas of business, estate and tax planning and even further in regards to real estate asset protection and tax planning. He owns several commercial real estate projects and loves the people, transactions and everything to do with real estate. Mr. Kohler has also been speaking for a number of organizations, authoring articles, appearing as a guest on radio shows, and is currently working on a new book. His most prestigious designation is that of being on the faculty of Nouveau Riche University, a real estate education company. Additionally, Mr. Kohler speaks regularly as a Continuing Education Speaker for the Utah Division of Real Estate, is a regular contributor to the Utah Realtor© Magazine, and is an adjunct professor at Southern Utah University. Many that attend his seminars/courses are surprised to see how exciting, interesting and even fun a discussion regarding tax and legal planning can be. He has the ability to distill complex legal and tax strategies in common layperson terms, adding interesting stories and anecdotes. Mr. Kohler is also the author of the new series of books Lawyers are Liars.
