Along with relevant case studies, topics discussed include: the differences between several types of business entities; preferred entities to hold investment real estate; asset protection strategies that work; and estate planning for your wealth and family. Course Objectives: Understand the differences between several types of business entities and which entities should be used to hold investments and real estate. Identify asset protection strategies that work. Learn estate planning concepts and how to apply them to fit your family’s current and future needs. Explore legal issues related to the “corporate veil”, and how business owners and investors can protect themselves from a potential lawsuit.
