Four and a half years ago when Charles Hosea learned about Nouveau Riche, he admits he didn’t have much. One thing that helped him then and continues to allow him to flourish: his big heart. When he was only 10 years old, Charles immigrated to the United States with his family and a burning desire to live the “American Dream.” Although he didn’t speak English, Charles had an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the opportunities available to him, and a desire to repay his blessings.

Now, the proud father of seven children and two grandchildren, Charles owns a Social Service agency, which he established in 1994, that serves under-privileged children and families, youth-at-risk and disabled adults. When he joined Nouveau Riche in August of 2003, he discovered a new way to give back to others.

He says, “One of my favorite quotes is ‘When there is no vision, the people perish.’” Charles thanks Co-founders Jim Piccolo, Mary Piccolo and Bob Snyder for their strong vision and the opportunity “pay it forward.” He describes Nouveau Riche’s leaders as “people with enough passion to light the rest of us on fire.”

As an Independent Regional Advisor, Charles played a key role in opening up and building the Southern California market in 2005, before moving to Hawaii to be with his family and share the Nouveau Riche opportunity with the islanders. In his new position as an Independent National Senior Advisor, Charles looks forward to infusing the Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas markets with his deep spirit and desire to enrich as many lives as possible through Nouveau Riche.

“Something becomes of great value only when it is shared….Others get to feel and enjoy what it is that you’ve come to enjoy. I am grateful for my family, and the association with Nouveau Riche and its leaders,” Charles says. He offers these words of reflection: “Think again about your person and why you’re here. Think again about other people’s lives and the opportunity [of Nouveau Riche that] you can use to bless other people’s lives…”
